(August 2012) Following the motto, ‘Make yourselves aware, explain yourselves, make a difference’, 20 young people between the ages of 19 and 25 came together at the Welthungerhilfe youth think tank. Young lateral thinkers, creatives and out-of-the-box thinkers, who want to make a difference.
Young people and the work of Welthungerhilfe
At the start of 2012, in the first edition of the think tank, it was recommended to establish a ‘young’ version. Welthungerhilfe invited young people who care deeply about justice and equal opportunity in the world. This youth think tank was about fresh perspectives with regard to the work of Welthungerhilfe, as well as reasons why young people engage.
