What complaints can we handle generally?
Welthungerhilfe will handle complaints related to their programmes, commitments and conduct. We will address complaints including, but not limited to the following:
- behaviour of Welthungerhilfe or our partner staff, or anyone associated with our programmes, including abuse of power or sexual exploitation and abuse;
- misuse of Welthungerhilfe’s funds, corruption, fraud.
Complaints Welthungerhilfe cannot handle will be passed on to the responsible party. You do have the possibility to lodge a complaint anonymously. However, when reporting anonymously, minimum requirements of information must be met.

Welthungerhilfe takes confidentiality very seriously, especially for people wanting to make concrete complaints.
We consider whistleblowing an important tool to continuously improve our work and we will provide protection to each person who comes forward.
