Annual Report 2007

In 2007 Welthungerhilfe was once again awarded the donations seal by Germany’s Central Institute for Social Issues (DZI) and yet again came amongst the top four winners of the Transparency Prize, an award given to charity organisations by the auditing company, PricewaterhouseCoopers. In the face of continued high food prices, Welthungerhilfe is calling for long-term changes in agricultural policy to help farming in developing countries. Additional funds, announced by the OECD, should be for the benefit of smallholding farmers as relevant to the country in question.
